Let’s talk about setting daily intentions.
When you wake up in the morning, or before you go to bed, set an intention as you meditate.
How?
By anchoring a very specific outcome in your mind, for instance …
“Today I’m going to have a super productive day at work.
The commute to work will be fast and one of my favorite songs will play on the radio.
I’ll go to the gym right after and have a great workout that will energize and empower me.
I’ll be home for dinner and have a healthy meal.
I will spend an hour or two with my family and friends, and have beautiful connection
with my partner before going to bed.”
Notice how specific that was? That’s because the best intentions are full of detail and descriptions.
When you fill your intention with specific scenarios, you’ll find yourself automatically doing things that demonstrate your commitment to that intention.
For instance if you’ve set an intention to go to the gym, your subconscious will work twice as hard to overcome any emotions (like laziness) that might stop you from seeing it through.
To start out with, try setting intentions for outcomes that you’ve got a good chance of accomplishing.
An hour at the gym, for instance, is doable.
But can you fulfill an intention to run a marathon on the same night?
It’s important that you build up your self-belief by turning your intentions into reality.
Once you get the hang of this, you’ll find yourself accomplishing virtually anything you set an intention for.
